Eric has ended this 2016 outdoor season on a high with - 

• a win at the Penicuik 1440 two day shoot
• a 1350 STAR award, scoring 1358
• qualified for GMB status and an invite to the UK Masters in 2017

Making Scotland once again the Euro-nations champions
 
Well done Eric. 

Well done to Eric for landing a monumental two 1350+ scores at the Northern Area Champs. He won the Open Shoot and the Northern Area Gents title. As it was a FITA star shoot he has become one of a select few to earn the 1350 star award.

Eric has also been selected, for the first time, to shoot for Scotland in Dublin, Ireland in July. 

Over 2 successive weekends, Ranald have won both the STAFAA and SFAA  Scottish Championships in AMFU.
This after only picking the compound up again 2 weeks beforehand out of curiosity, having been shooting flatbow for almost a year!
Competition was tough for both weekends not just from fellow competitors but also the strong winds last week!
Ranald used all his experience and mental toughness to sustain quality shooting throughout.
It proves there’s life in the old dog yet and hopefully this winning streak will continue in both Field and Target disciplines!

Eric Taylor has been awarded to most improved male archery in the Northern Area of Scotland for 2014's outdoor season. He was awarded the Syd Strachan Trophy. Syd was the founder of Banchory Archers. Nice one Eric
